Well, that’s one way to get written off a show! We relished the zany supernatural hijinks this week for Season 2, Episode 16, “The Condemned Woman" even if we’re mostly at a loss to explain it, too. But we’re definitely back in the city limits of Twin Peaks, and we couldn’t be happier!

It’s good news/bad news in Twin Peaks this week! In Season 2, Episode 15, “Slaves and Masters,” we return to the ominous vibe we love with Annie Hall herself behind the camera, but this is also a high point of low points as the ugly myths of our collective past are trotted out for some not-laughs. But we’re still psyched to have rounded the bend, so order up and come on down…

The lady with the log. Perhaps another actor would blanch at forever being saddled with that character. Harrison Ford and Sean Connery sound curmudgeonly when discussing Han Solo or James Bond. Catherine E. Coulson was not like that.

Oh, man, is this show beleaguered or brilliant? Both? We’re feeling good about Season 2, Episode 12: “The Black Widow” but we’re suspicious. Fortunately, there’s a heroic return in this ep, so we are keeping the faith. Come on down!
